Special Requirements

Submit one color photo, taken in last 6 months.

Use a clear image of your face. Do not use filters commonly used on social media.

Have someone else take your photo. No selfies.

Take off your eyeglasses for your photo.

Use a white or off-white background without shadows, texture, or lines.

Take your photo in front of a white or off-white background instead of cropping out the background.

Double check that your camera is focused before taking the photo.

Your entire head must be in the photo. Your hair may extend past the boundaries of the photo, as long as your entire head is shown and is the appropriate size.

Photo should not be overexposed or underexposed. You should adjust your camera exposure or use extra lighting.

Use a white or off-white background without shadows, texture, or lines.

You should sit or stand straight, face the camera, and look straight ahead.

A facial expression should be neutral.

Your head should be level and directly facing the camera.

Your pupils and irises (colored portions of the eyes) must be clearly visible.

You may not wear hats or head coverings, except for religious or medical purposes.

Adjust your hair so that your entire face is visible.
