Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of Passport Photo AI (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the App on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

Purchases

The App is free to download. To use unlimited high-quality saves and unlock all features, you can purchase Full Access — a one-time, non-recurring purchase processed by Apple.

  • Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or by Apple’s App Store policy.
  • You can restore your purchase on any device signed in with the same Apple ID using Restore Purchase in the app.
  • All payments are processed by Apple; we do not handle card details.

What the App does — and does not do

The App helps you produce a photo that meets the published specifications for a passport, visa, ID card, or similar document. The AI verification step checks common requirements (face position, lighting, gaze, expression, sharpness).

The App does not guarantee acceptance by any government, embassy, consulate, or document authority. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of the receiving authority. You are responsible for confirming the requirements for your specific document and submission.

We are not affiliated with any passport, visa, or ID-issuing authority.

Your content

Your photos remain yours. Verification and background removal run on-device. We do not claim any rights to your images.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use the photo of any person you process through the App.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App:

  • To produce a photograph of someone without their consent.
  • To create a fraudulent or misleading identity document.
  • To attempt to bypass security or licensing protections in the App.

We may terminate your access if you misuse the App.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App — including, without limitation, a rejected document submission, missed travel, or any cost associated with retaking or reprinting your photo. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
