Canada Visa Photo Requirements (IMM 5444) 2026
A Canada visitor visa photo uses the 35×45 mm IMM 5444 specification — different from the larger 50×70 mm format used for Canadian passport and PR Card. The plain white background and standard biometric rules apply. The visitor visa is the application most non-Canadian travellers need before flying to Canada (for those not eligible for eTA).
