France ID Card Photo Requirements 2026
The French national ID card (Carte nationale d'identité) uses the same 35×45 mm biometric photo specification as the French passport. Light grey background, head 32–36 mm, no glasses since 2017. The e-photo code from a Photomaton booth can be entered into ANTS during online application.
