Brazil reintroduced visa requirements for US, Canadian, and Australian citizens on 10 April 2025 — these three nationalities now apply through the official Brazil e-Visa portal (brazil.vfsevisa.com) for tourism, business, transit, and short visits. EU and UK passport holders remain visa-free for stays up to 90 days. Mercosur nationals (Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador) enter on national ID and may reside/work.
