Thailand Passport Photo Requirements 2026

A Thai passport photo must be 40×60 mm on a plain white background. The head — from chin to crown — must be between 32 and 36 mm. The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs applies these specifications to the Thai passport and visa applications. The driving licence uses a smaller 35×45 mm format. In practice, biometric photos are captured at the MFA office during passport renewal.
